Our home overlooks 26,000 acres of state grazing land along the fence line. Western bluebirds, quail, coyote, bobcat, and pronghorn antelope have been spotted just from the backyard. It is an easy, beautiful 20-25 minute drive to Santa Fe, away from the bustle. Enjoy seasonal Skiing, hiking, walking, biking, art, music, and culture set in the beautiful high desert landscape and light that is northern New Mexico.
Our front and backyard porch and porta dining areas for sitting and dining have stunning views of the Sangre de Christo, Jemez, and Ortiz mountains, Tetilla Peak, and large swaths of the Galisteo Basin. Some days we can see the sacred mountain of the San Francisco Peaks along the horizon almost 120 mi. away.
Our home is located in Eldorado at Santa Fe, a planned community of 10,000 acres with a community center and stables.
There are greenbelt areas for walking, running, and biking, with nearby hiking trails.
